To apply, you must be at least 18 years old, complete all federal course training and pass the half day field test. Additionally you'll need to meet all physical and medical standards.
No. Many applicants begin with no experience. You will receive all the professional training you need through our training.
Our hiring process involves your application, interview, course work and field test. It is simple, straightforward and can take as little as two weeks to complete.
We require The Work Capacity Test aka 'The Pack Test'. Consists of a three mile walk with a 45 lbs weighted vest in 45 minutes or less.
You will undergo hands-on firefighting skills training and classroom learning to prepare you for the demands of the job.
Yes. Most firefighting assignments are 14 day rolls at a time. You will have two days of rest and rehab between rolls.
